movie mini-review : Hello Stranger

yesterday, i went to Blitzmegaplex, Paris Van Java to watch a Thai Movie titled "Hello Stranger" with my besties Mirna and Dina :) actually i dont really know about the story, i dont even read the synopsis. but alot of my friends recomend this movie and they said this movie is "a must see"! don't you think it makes you more courious? and tarrrraaa~ here i come! we bought the ticket, watched the movie, and.... it's totally AWWWH-SOME!!! :p

"Not knowing each other. They fall in love."

"Hello Stranger" gave us a different taste from nowadays-movie :) This is a Thai movie with Seoul (and all about Korea) as the background. Directed by Banjong Pisanthanakun who previously co-directed the hit horror thrillers Shutter and Alone then Phobia & 4bia. Starring : Chantavit Thanasevi and Neungtida Sophon. For me, the genre is silly-comedy-sweet-sad yet romantic hehe^^ the story is about a pair of young Thais who are going to have a vacation to Seoul, South Korea. at first they're not knowing each other, they have their own plan to Seoul.
until that silly guy who broke up with his girlfrienfd (in Thai) meet the woman who stayed at different hotel with the guy. the guy is getting drunk and landing at the backpacker-hostel doorstep of the woman. after that moment, the guy is following the woman to everywhere.
and it started from here, they went together for 2 days and suddenly they realized something different between them. the guy looks confused and doesn't even know about his "feeling" to the woman. they didn't want to know each other's name. to cover it, the woman says her name is "May" and she gave a name to the guy which is called "Darng" (haha what kind of name is it?!).

the silly couple "May" and "Darng" :p

aaah i think i can't write the whole story, haha :D so sorry :) but if you really want to know more about the movie review, i'll give you the link here :) Please enjoy it! and dont forget to watch the movie as soon as possible! :) For you who lived in Bandung, you can watch "Hello Stranger" only at Blitzmegaplex :)

don't you love this scene?

Talking About : Super Junior.

Well, it’s been along time rite? I miss blogging so much! so what to write now? Okay, first I’m gonna share my new interest in music for you, recently I interested in K-Pop (or you know it as Korean Wave too?) it started on January 2010. At that time a lot of my friends were talking about Suju, but hey I have no idea what they’re talking about. And when I asked my sister Garnis, it’s like a “click!” she told me everything about it! First, Suju is Super Junior a boy-group formed by SM Entertainment from South Korea which has 13 members (OMG, can you imagine it? A boygroup with 13 members? Crazy) debuted on 2005 and trained for about 5 years before debute. The members are Leeteuk (leader), Heechul, Yesung, Donghae, Eunhyuk, Sungmin, Shindong, Siwon, Ryoewook, Kyuhyun, Kangin, Kibum, and Hangeng (the only Chinese member, and was chosen from three thousand applicants via auditions held in China by SM Entertainment in 2001).

As of 2010, only 10 members are active, due to Han Geng's ongoing lawsuit against SM Entertainment, Kang-in's leave of absence for mandatory military service and Kibum's pursuit of an acting career. However, the remaining members have insisted that they are still part of the group.

Everlasting Friends (commonly referred to as E.L.F or E.L.Fs) is the name of Super Junior's official fan base. Although concrete statistic have not been conducted to count the number of fans, it is argued that the group has a huge number of fans not just in Asia, but also thousands of faithful fans in Europe, the Americas, Australia, Africa, and the Middle East.

Super Junior made their debute on November 6, 2005, performing their first single, "TWINS (Knock Out)" , but a more complete album, SuperJunior05 (TWINS), was released on December 6, 2005 instead. Super Junior's second official album was intended for a late 2006 release, but due to several accidental setbacks, Don't Don was not released until September 20, 2007. Within the first three days of release, offline album sales for Don't Don passed the 11,000 unit mark, debuting as #1 in all available offline charts. It finished the September monthly album sales as #1. 60,000 units were shipped by the first week of release and additional copies were printed. Although Don't Don received rather bland reviews from critics, the album sold more than 160,000 copies by the end of the year, becoming the second best-selling record of 2007.

Super Junior have three sub-unit called Super Junior-M (a subgroup designated for the Chinese market), Super Junior-T (for Trot Music), and Super Junior Happy.

Super Junior's third album, Sorry, Sorry was released on March 12, 2009 with acclaimed reviews. The title single of the album, Sorry, Sorry was digitally released on March 9, 2009. In less than a week after preorders were announced, over 150,000 copies were pre-ordered. Sorry, Sorry was their first album to debut at #1 on the Hanteo Charts, and it sold over 29,000 copies the first day, defeating Seo Taiji's record of 25,000. Two weeks later, "Sorry, Sorry" became the number one song of the week on the same program. From March to May, "Sorry, Sorry" collected a total of ten #1 awards with consecutive wins in Korea, having the single becoming a national and international success. After only a month of release, the album became South Korea's best-selling album of 2009. Promotions for the album started March 13 with the performance of "Sorry, Sorry" and "Why I Like You".

They has released their 4th album called BONAMANA on May and it’s DAEBAK! (Daebak is korean language, it means like gorgeous, great,…) On May 6, 2010, the teaser for their upcoming fourth studio album, Bonamana, was released through SM Entertainment's YouTube page. The full music video was released on 12 May. It reached the 1 million views mark in just one day after release. Bonamana was released on May 13, 2010 in South Korea. Bonamana was the first album released by the group only with 10 members, without Han Geng who is currently processing his contract termination with SM Entertainment, Kibum who is involved in activities in acting and Kangin who to enlist in to Korean army. Bonamana also broke a personal record for the group by having over 200,000 pre-orders. On May 14, 2010, Super Junior had their comeback stage on KBS Music Bank, performing title track Bonamana and Boom Boom. On May 17, 2010, a teaser movie for "Victory Korea", which is going to be used for the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa, was released through SM Entertaiment's YouTubeHanteo, becoming the current best-selling album of 2010.

On June 28, 2010, Super Junior released their repackaged album with three new tracks - "No Other", "All My Heart", "A Short Journey" - and the remixed version of "Shake It Up!". "A Short Journey" was composed by Donghae and the lyrics were written by Eunhyuk. Their own Kangin was featured in this song before his enlistment to the Korean army. On July 2, 2010, Super Junior had their first live performance of "No Other" on Music Bank. The music video for "No Other" was released on July 7, 2010.

Super Junior bid goodbye and ended their promotions of "No Other" and "Bonamana" on Music shows (KBS Music Bank, MBC Music Core and SBS Inkigayo) on the 23rd, 24th and 25 July 2010, respectively.

Yep, that’s all. I gave you a lil’story about Super Junior :) half of the story, I got from Wikipedia to help you more^^ please enjoy my writing :)
